Once upon a time…
Commenced trading as Print Search Lancashire. Staff of three, warehouse 1,500 square feet. First year turnover £900,000.
Rebrand
Print Search Lancashire was now selling nationwide and the county suffix was restrictive. The rebrand to PSL Print Management more accurately reflected the scope and direction of the business. We also changed our colours… hence the leopard.
2002
Rapid sales growth necessitated an expansion in warehousing. Capacity doubled from 20,000 square feet to 40,000, with the addition of another unit.
Direct Mail Department formed
Increased throughput of postal and mailing requirements led to formation of a specialist Direct Mail department, which currently manages almost 50% of PSL’s turnover

Management Team
Jim Gilliland
MD
Almost 40 years of print industry experience, after leaving Salford Council Treasury department in 1981. Joint founder of PSL Print Management in 1987, taking charge of finance, sales and recruitment. His direct sales role led to business wins in a number of industry sectors, particularly retail, holiday/leisure and logistics.
Brian Eyre
MD
Left the teaching profession in 1979, moving to Trafford Park to pursue a career in sales. Joint founder with Jim of PSL Print Management in 1987, focusing on warehousing/logistics and quality/ ISO certifications. Expertise in the housing sector and provision of specialist documentation to UK Police Forces.
Debbie Bowdler
Director
Joined PSL in 1991, after a productive sales and marketing career in the home improvement sector. Debbie has subsequently had great success in developing the cruise and leisure industries for PSL Print Management. More recently food distribution companies and regulatory bodies have expanded her portfolio. Debbie was offered a directorship in 2009.
Nick Holt
Director
Involved in the print industry for over 40 years as a sales professional and print company CEO. Joined PSL in 2004 and has been responsible for PSL’s significant growth in the Direct Mail market. His production experience has been invaluable in PSL Print Management gaining ISO/ Quality/ FSC certifications. Nick has been on the board since 2009.

With a team of 10 external sales professionals PSL has a very experienced offering in the Print Management field.
Sales Support
To compliment the field sales force, PSL has an internal team of 16 qualified and well-trained internal account managers.
Accounts + Admin
A team of 6 provide for the smooth flow of invoicing and payments between PSL and our clients.
I.T. & Design
Our team provide both creative & functional support for our sales force & account management team.
Quality Department
This team meets monthly and oversees the supply chain, customer issues and any internal procedures that need enhancing.
Warehousing
Many of our warehouse staff have been with PSL for over 20 years, and as such are particularly experienced.
